Sam Boyd and his custom-made surfboards recently appeared on BBC One's "Breakfast" show, where he was interviewed about his recent award at the Royal Entrepreneurial Awards 3 days ago, his business model and how the business has taken off since his winning of BBC One's "Junior Apprentice" nearly 14 months ago.

Sam said "Well Lord Sugar has been fantastic in facilitating and mentoring me through the first year of business. He's made a lot of effort to spend time with me down in Devon running the store, and we've developed a strong working relationship. It now feels that we're working together as equal partners in this business... Receiving the REA award was amazing, and its an excellent achievement to show how well we've done with this business and how far its come."

Sam and the company are now gearing up for the winter slow-months, and preparing to introduce a new line of Snowboards ready for the skiing season. More to come on that soon!
